FRP - What is it?

Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic or FRP is a composite made from glass, Kevlar, ceramic, or carbon fibers added to a polymer resin. The term “fiberglass” is often used to describe some FRP products and is in fact just one type of FRP. Reinforcing the plastic enables a wide variety of physical strengths and properties to be designed into the FRP composite.
